Solar panels

Large industrial building with blue vertical stripes and numerous solar panels installed on the sloped roof.

There are more than 3,500 solar panels on the roof of our fully automatic high-bay warehouse, so our warehouse runs entirely on green energy. This not only has a positive impact on the environment, it also makes us less dependent on any external power outages.

Electric trucks

White Mercedes-Benz electric truck with blue 'dematra' branding and text stating 100% electric and driven by dedication and electricity.

We are only on the eve of the electrification of freight traffic, but we want to live up to our role as a pioneer by already purchasing and using a few fully electric vehicles. We are closely following the further development of this market and are looking at where we can make our fleet more sustainable without sacrificing efficiency.

Lean & Green

Lean & Green is the leading CO2-reduction program where both shippers and logistics service providers can participate. The program strives to achieve the CO2-sustainably reduce emissions in logistics by promoting cooperation, sharing knowledge and implementing smart, effective measures. We are therefore proud that we were able to win this label.

A positive impact on our environment

As a transporter, we are on the road day in and day out and consume a lot of energy. We are therefore fully committed to making our fleet more sustainable and generating renewable energy.

Our people

Safety

Safety first is not an empty concept at Dematra. In an environment where everything and everyone is constantly moving, safety is an essential element. The right clothing, protection and compliance are extremely important in the work we do, both internally and on the road. We are therefore committed to raising awareness among our people.

Well-being

The well-being of our employees does not leave us unmoved. We all spend a large part of our time at work, so it's very important that this brings people forward as a person. Not only financially, but also in terms of satisfaction and development. We therefore focus on initiatives that make life at work more enjoyable and provide the necessary training.

Automation

In our warehouses as well as in our vehicles and offices, we focus on automation, so we reduce the number of repetitive tasks and our people can fully commit to tasks where they can really make a difference.
